About Us
We don't take
every job.
Most contractors will quote anything and figure it out later. We qualify jobs before we quote them, turn down work we know won't last, and follow up after the invoice to make sure you're standing in your space feeling exactly the way you should. That's why 500+ projects and a 5-star record aren't marketing — they're just what happens when you do it properly.
Our Story
Built on what
goes underneath.
Plenty Pavers was founded in Orlando by Augusto Lodos with one observation: most paving contractors in Central Florida were competing on price, and price competition means cutting the base work. Florida's light soil requires a 4" compacted concrete base on every installation. That's where shortcuts were happening — and that's where longevity comes from.
Augusto runs every client relationship — every quote, every site visit, every follow-up call. Hugo manages the subcontractor network and material delivery: the variables that determine whether a timeline holds and a crew performs at the standard the client was promised. The quality story has two people in it.
The thing most contractors don't do: follow up after the invoice. Not to collect anything. To make sure the client is standing in their space feeling exactly the way they should. Augusto said it directly when asked what he does that most contractors wouldn't: "Follow up to make sure of that." It became the operating principle of the business.
A recent project in Windermere shows how this plays out. Johan came with old tiles, cracked concrete at his entrance, and an AI sketch of what he wanted it to become. We suggested the Belgard 3-size tile combination — three formats of the same material that give an entrance depth and movement. Two days later, the entrance was unrecognisable. He and his wife said they were over the moon. That's the standard, not the exception.
We operate across Orlando and Central Florida — Windermere, Winter Garden, Clermont, Apopka, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Oviedo, Sanford, Kissimmee, and surrounding areas. We limit our service area deliberately so that every job gets the same crew quality and project management attention.
How We Work
The principles behind
every project.
We'd rather lose a job than do it wrong.
Some clients want us to patch cracked driveway concrete. We explain why patching doesn't last — it won't hold in Florida's heat and shifting soil. We show them the proper alternative. If they still insist on the patch, we thank them for their time and walk away. We simply don't do it. Our name stays on that surface. We're not willing to attach it to something that fails.
The base is everything.
Florida's light soil shifts with moisture, heat, and load — which means a 4" compacted concrete base isn't optional. It's the structural requirement that determines whether a surface holds for 40 years or fails in 3. Most paver failures are base failures. We've never negotiated on excavation depth, compaction standards, or drainage prep. We won't start.
We use Belgard, Tremron, and Pavestone. That's it.
Off-brand materials cut costs and cut lifespan. We've seen what happens to projects built with cheap pavers in Florida's climate. We don't use them.
You see the price before you decide.
Full itemised quote in writing before any work starts. No 'we'll figure it out as we go.' No surprises on the final invoice.
Clean sites, every day.
Construction is disruptive. We can't eliminate that — but we can control how we leave your property each day. We do.
Materials
Three brands.
No substitutions.
We work exclusively with Belgard, Tremron, and Pavestone — the manufacturers with the longest track records, strongest warranties, and widest product ranges in the industry. We've seen what off-brand pavers do in Florida's UV, heat, and humidity over five years. We don't use them.
All three manufacturers offer a product warranty on top of our 5-year installation warranty. You're covered on both ends.
