Outdoor Living
Built to Last.

Hardscaping is how a yard becomes an outdoor room. A fire pit you actually gather around. Seating walls that hold weight year after year. A pergola base that doesn't shift when the ground moves in a Florida wet season. These are structural elements first — the aesthetic is what happens when you build them correctly.

What We Build

Every feature as
a system.

A hardscape project isn't a collection of individual add-ons — it's an integrated outdoor environment. Grading, drainage, material flow, and structural connections between features are designed together from the start, not figured out mid-build.

At Plenty Pavers, we design and build custom hardscape environments that transform backyards into fully realized outdoor living spaces. As official Belgard installers serving Central Florida, we combine luxury design with structural construction that performs year-round — every fire feature, seating wall, and outdoor kitchen engineered as part of a unified system, not assembled as afterthoughts.

Fire Pits & Features

Full outdoor environments designed as one integrated project — patio, fire pit, seating walls, and pergola base planned together, not bolted together separately.

Seating & Accent Walls

Structural-first build — every hardscape element is engineered to the load and the site conditions before aesthetic decisions are made.

Outdoor Kitchens

Fire pit construction with proper drainage beneath and proper clearances around — built to code, built to last.

Raised Planters

Seating walls footed and built to hold weight — not decorative walls that look right for two seasons.

Step Systems

Freestanding or integrated steps between grade changes — bullnose cap stones, matching risers, and consistent pattern with surrounding hardscape.

Pergola Bases & Footings

Structural concrete footings and paver bases for pergola and shade structure installations. Properly engineered load-bearing bases — not an afterthought.

How We Build

The design-build process

Hardscape projects fail when features are added without a unified plan. We design the entire space before breaking ground.

01

Design Consultation

We assess the site, discuss how you want to use the space, and design the hardscape elements as one integrated environment. The pergola goes where the drainage allows, the fire pit where the grade supports it. Site conditions come first.

02

Integrated Planning

Features are designed as a system — grading, drainage, gas/electric rough-ins, and material flow are all resolved before the first block is set. No mid-project surprises.

03

Structural Build

Every hardscape element gets its own proper foundation — not a decorative base, a structural one. This is what separates hardscape features that hold for decades from ones that lean, shift, or crack within three years.

04

Surface & Finish

Cladding, cap stones, and surface pavers installed last. Final sweep, cleanup, and full walkthrough with you before we call it done.

Common Questions

Hardscape FAQs

How much does a hardscape project cost in Orlando?

Hardscape projects vary significantly by scope — a single fire pit and seating wall from $4,000; a full outdoor room with kitchen, pergola base, and integrated patio from $25,000+. We provide a full itemised written quote after the site visit. The price doesn't change between the estimate and the invoice.

Can you integrate hardscapes with an existing paver driveway or patio?

Yes — this is one of the biggest advantages of doing everything in one system. Matching materials, consistent grading, and unified drainage are all handled in the same project scope. We'll bring samples to the consultation to match existing work.

Do hardscapes need permits in Central Florida?

Some features do. Outdoor kitchens with gas lines, structural retaining walls over a certain height, and certain electrical features require permits. We identify permit requirements during the design phase and handle the process.

How long does a hardscape project take?

Smaller features like seating walls and fire pits take 2–5 days. A full outdoor living space with kitchen, fire feature, and multiple zones typically runs 1–3 weeks. Timeline is confirmed before work starts.

Do you do the landscaping too or just hardscape?

We do hardscape only — stone, concrete, and structural elements. We work alongside landscapers and can refer trusted partners in the area, but planting and irrigation are not in our scope.
