How We Build in Dr. Phillips
The date matters as much as the finish.
Most of Bay Hill and Sand Lake went up between the mid-eighties and the early two-thousands, which means the pool decks out here are on their first surface and running out of years. Hairline cracks turn into lifted edges, the coping separates, and the whole thing reads tired next to a house that doesn't. We offer the proper alternative. If the client still insists on the patch, we simply walk away. Our name stays on that surface. We're not willing to attach it to something that fails.
Florida's soil is why the base isn't optional.
Central Florida's light soil means every installation needs a proper 4" compacted concrete base — no exceptions. Most paver failures are base failures. Some installers shortcut it to save money. Homeowners don't always know to ask. We build it right regardless, because it's the part you never see that determines whether the surface holds for 40 years or falls apart in 5.

We work exclusively with Belgard, Tremron, and Pavestone. We've seen what cheap pavers do in Florida's UV, heat, and humidity. We don't use them.
